duck duck bruce : end of the road

after almost seven glorious years slinging the best bacon and eggs in town,

duck duck bruce has closed its doors for the last time

we are beyond proud of what became ‘the little caff that could’

and although the lease not being renewed wasn’t our choice, we have relished every moment of going out on a high

we still have lions and tigers to keep us busy, and we are going to treat ourselves to a long overdue holiday and a sunday lie in before we make any permanent decisions on the bruce’s future

thank you to everyone who made our first business adventure such a spectacular one, and here’s to the next chapter whatever it may be

please understand that same day cancellations and no shows deal a hammer blow to our ability to keep trading through bumpy times. help us keep the ship sailing smoothly by bearing this in mind when you make your booking

we only take bookings for the porch (dog friendly) and inside tables in case the weather doesn’t go our way. if you wanted a courtyard table, just head down for a walk in spot

if you need to know something specific or you wanted to book for more than 8 people, feel free to drop us a line

please be aware we run one ‘all day’ menu rather than separate brekkie and lunch menus

advance bookings only, so for same day dining just head in for a walk in spot, the cafe gets super busy and there may be a waiting list for tables at peak times, but we’ll always do our absolute best to get you a spot as quickly as possible
